The staff at ISES have been providing turnkey occupational safety solutions to protect human health in the workplace for over 30 years. Our services are tailored to assist you in evaluating and implementing solutions for hazards in your facility, to include; site assessments, written programs, employee training, or other, custom services to protect the health and well-being of your employees.

Workers Wearing Helmets and Jackets

Decades of experience in ventilation and pollution control design and installation allow ISES to handle atypical needs such as the collection and control of extremely fine particulate, or the ventilation of flam- mables in hot gas streams . . . along with more common needs such as the installation of coating booths, curing ovens and exhausts.

From carbon adsorption-catalytic incineration hybrid systems to corrosion-resistant, durable scrubbers, ISES stays in the front of the technology wave.

Particulate controls of all types, including traditional cyclone-baghouse installations, water wash systems and electrostatic precipitation, operating in a variety of environments . . . ISES identifies site-specific needs and offers turnkey solutions for manufacturers.

  • ISES designs energy efficiency into every installation . . . taking advan- tage of “waste” heat whenever possible and providing the most efficient combustion units available. For ventilation issues ranging from removal of toxics from building

  • Atmospheres, to providing makeup heat for ventilated areas, ISES has the expertise and experience to design and install a system to provide optimum performance.

  • For specific ventilation issues, from welding to surface coating, ISES provides

  • cost-efficient solutions that conform with applicable standards and codes.

Industrial Hygiene and Indoor Air Quality Assessments

At ISES, we’ve been providing technologically advanced Industrial Hygiene services since 1986. We not only evaluate the air quality in your manufacturing facility or office building, we engineer a solution to eliminate the problem.

OSHA has standards for allowable amounts of hun- dreds of different substances that employees are exposed to. For many years, we’ve worked with in- dustrial plants, monitoring for these regulated sub- stances and making recommendations to get work- places into compliance with these OSHA standards.

Our staff of Certified Industrial Hygienists, Industrial Hygienists, engineers, and field technicians can as- sess the indoor environmental quality of your work- place to uncover the truth behind the complaints. ISES has developed solutions for many facilities and mitigated settlements for others.

It’s not only identifying contaminants that’s important. Our engineers can fix the problem.

The symptoms of sick building syndrome are diverse and wide ranging. Headaches, unusual fatigue, itching or burning eyes, skin irritation, nasal congestion, dry or irritated throats, and nausea are just some of the symptoms reported. We can work with you and your employees to discover the causes of this increasingly common condition. Indoor air quality, noise, lighting, ergonomics and job-related psychosocial stressors are assessed to determine a complete picture of the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and how these might represent possible contributions to complaints.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recommends minimum requirements for supplying fresh air to building occupants.

To bring a building into compliance with the ASHRAE recommendation, we analyze and (when necessary) “reverse engineer” HVAC systems, measuring air flow and pressure to model building air flow. These models allow you to better understand what effect proposed HVAC changes will have on building air flow, and to make cost-effective decisions for any required changes. You’ll find that we can prescribe reasonable solutions to air flow problems.
